Renowned for attracting the weird and wonderful, the highlight of this year's programme was the Best Dressed Competition. It was hosted at the Grand Parade. Several phenomenal prizes has been awarded to the team with the most creative costumes.
Proceeds of the run are donated to the Community Chest, which supports more than 400 social development agencies. The run attracts more than 20 000 people each year, These agencies care for and give support to children, families, the elderly and homeless, the physically and mentally challenged, people living with HIV/Aids. They also support rehabilitation and community development projects.
