NEW MASHIE DEVELOPMENTS – Power Play Golf

Renovations are taking place at our course at the moment.

1st hole
· New challenging tee box on the back left hand side
· Beware of that old south easterly wind. She plays a big role
· Optimal wind judgement and control is required on this first daunting hole

2nd hole
· PowerPlay tee, deep in the bushes
· Making the hole a few yards longer
· Foresee a blind shot into the black flag.
· Advice for this hole – Hit & Hope

3rd hole
· Lets get serious
· Not the stroke 1 for nothing
· The wind makes this one tough and extra long
· Club choice on this hole is going to be key
· Make sure you don’t hit it left – at best you will be lucky to walk away with bogey

4th hole
· Spot a fish of this new tee box
· If your 8 foot tall, you’ll see the top of the flag
· This hole has officially gone from the easiest to one of the toughest
· Very unpredictable – make sure the club selection is correct.

5th hole
· Sneaking little short hole this don’t let the distance fool you.
· Make sure you bring it in high
· If not, you will feel like you at Hawaii with the problems the big palm tree is going to cause you

6th hole
· More into the wind you cannot get.
· Select the correct club or face the consequences
· Green has been extended –attack the flag and expect a penalty. Leave it short and a 3 putt is a given.

7th hole
· Stop your ball on this green and you deserve a birdie
· Bring your short game on this hole – you are going to need it

8th hole
· This is why we have the long iron in the bag
· This hole is not called the eagle eye for nothing – take a moment to wonder over the views.
· Now get serious and take 2 extra clubs.

9th hole
· You are going to want to stay dry on this one
· Not the kind of hole you want to attack the flag.
· But go right and you’re out of bounds

We trust that you will all enjoy the new challenges on the golf course and stay tuned for further updates.

PLAY WELL
